The Warrior : Rover
Lived a brave dog named Rover, every single day.
His owner, Captain Ram, stood tall and true, Their bond was unbreakable, between the two.
But one fateful day, darkness came to call,
The enemy attacked, causing chaos and a brawl.
Their peaceful army base turned into a war zone, Where bullets flew, and fear had grown.
The commander ordered Captain Ram to defend,
The eastern side of the base, a deadly trend.
With just fifteen men, it seemed like a lost fight,
But they stood strong, ready to face the night.
Amidst the gunfire, Rover heard a cry,
He couldn't bear to see Captain Ram in the sky. Escaping from his cage, he dashed through the rain,
Dodging bullets, determined to ease his owner's pain.
With a wag of his tail, he reached the captain's side,
Lending a paw to the injured, wounded in the tide.
Together they fought, side by side, till the end, Rover's loyalty and courage, a true friend.
But as the battle raged, and the smoke cleared, Only Rover and Captain Ram remained, nothing to be feared.
The captain, emotional, realizing their plight, Told Rover to retreat, to safety, out of sight.
But Rover barked fiercely, refusing to go,
He wouldn't leave Captain Ram, no matter the blow.
With love in his heart, he protected his mate, Shielding him bravely, from a cruel twist of fate.
But alas, bullets found their mark, not once but thrice, Rover, wounded and weary, paid the ultimate price.
In his last moments, he whispered a goodbye, Captain Ram, in tears, held him close, letting out a cry.
A hero in war, Rover's story shall be told,
His sacrifice and loyalty, forever bold. In the heart of Captain Ram, a deep pain, For Rover, the real hero, his love shall remain.
